Best Paper Award for “Räumchen wechsle dich – Eigenräume und Raumwechsel beim Aufbau einer Online Community of Practice”, a paper in German co-authored with Dr. Patricia Arnold at the Gesellschaft für Medien in der Wissenschaft (GMW) 2014 conference in Zurich, Switzerland. This paper was about informal and formal learning spaces used to build a community of practice in an online doctoral program, ownership and management of spaces, and the perceived purpose of different learning spaces.
