An invited talk at #OERde14 Die Zukunft freier Bildungsmaterialien. Open Educational Resources conference, Berlin, Germany led to my learning a lot about institutional, instructional, policy, and technical aspects of open educational resources (OER) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I met some great colleagues because the conference brought together people from different sectors with diverse perspectives, making for some intense discussions.
