My research is focused on the design, development, implementation and impact of online graduate education. I am especially interested in the design of online professional programs for students’ transformational learning and professional growth. My recent articles, book chapters and conference papers have dealt with online curriculum design and pedagogy, community-building among educational practitioners, online mentoring and the measurement of online program impact.
My post-dissertation research focused on the use of social media formally and informally by students and faculty members in several disciplines in higher education. I continue to study the use of social media and emerging technologies in higher education.
