Dr. Patrica Arnold from the Munich University of Applied Sciences, Germany, presented these two papers that we co-authored:
“E-Portfolios – Fostering systematic reflection in social work education.” in the learning and collaboration technologies category at the Human Computer Interaction International conference in June 2014 in Greece. This paper is about integrating e-portfolios in the educational design of an online program for professionals of social work, where reflection on the connections between theory and practice are the main goal.
The second paper presents the findings of a content analysis of e-portfolios created during the online professional program using threshold crossings as a theoretical framework. “Crossing Professional Thresholds with Networked Learning? An analysis of student e-portfolios using the threshold concept perspective” was presented at the 9th International Conference on Networked Learning 2014, in Edinburgh.
