Online program impact

Two recently published articles about measuring impact in online doctoral programs that highlight the ways in which doctoral students apply their learning to professional practice:

The impact factor: A professional doctorate in Educational Technology co-authored with Dr. Kara Dawson in TechTrends, 58(4), 89-97 about the impact of an online doctoral program embedded in practice.  “A systematic approach to the assessment of impact in a professional doctorate” in Higher Education, Skills and Work-based Learning 4(2). 171-183 is about measuring impact at different points of an online program.
